Crafted by Maison Trénel—founded in 1928 and presently part of Chapoutier—this wine is sourced from 30–60-year-old Gamay vines planted on granite, sandy-loam, and clay soils around Perréon and Clochemerle in the Beaujolais-Villages AOP.

Deep ruby in color with violet hues, it greets the nose with vibrant red fruits—strawberry, raspberry, cranberry—interwoven with floral notes of peony and rose.

👄 Palate & Texture

Light to medium-bodied and juicy, the palate delivers plush red berry flavor balanced by fresh acidity, smooth tannins, and a hint of peppery spice. Its structure feels surprising due to the old-vine richness.

🔚 Finish

Clean and enduring, the finish echoes bright fruit and refined spice with a mineral touch—refreshing and appetizing .

🍷 Food Pairings
